MST Racing created their VW Beetle to drag race. The car is no longer powered by a flat-four in the back. Instead it is powered by a turbocharged BMW M50 inline-six in the front thanks to a tubular chassis. The motor features forged pistons and rods, Holset HX50 turbocharger, and Link G4+ ECU. It produces 1013 hp and 886 Nm of torque. Behind the inline-six is a Liberty five-speed transmission. VeeDubRacing reports the car’s best quarter-mile is 8.3 sec at 158 mph.
