Tamás Tomcsányi and his special Lada VAZ-2101 has competed in hillclimb for several years. When we shared this car in 2018, it was powered by a naturally aspirated 1.6 L inline-four from a Lada Niva making 180 hp. It is now powered by a turbocharged 1.9 L BMW M44 inline-four capable of 340 hp. The BMW motor is paired to a six-speed sequential transmission. Watch Tamás race up Skradin hillclimb in Croatia.
