Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 with a Cummins R2.8 diesel inline-four

Proffitt’s Resurrection Land Cruisers (PRLC) in in Orchard City, Colorado performed a body-off restoration on this Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. Work on the powertrain started with a 2.8 L Cummins R2.8 turbodiesel inline-four. After that there is a Toyota H55F five-speed manual transmission, transfer case, and ARB locking differentials. To better handle off-road bumps PRLC installed their reverse shackles and Old Man Emu leaf springs in front. In the back they installed a custom 4-link with Bilstein coilovers. The exterior features a stretched hard top, PRLC winch bar with a Warn 8274 winch, Eezi-Awn roof rack, and PRLC dual swing-out rear bumper. The finishing touch is a set of BFGoodrich 33×10.5-inch tires mounted on Nomad wheels.
