BIFIRI is building a Lamborghini Gallardo for time attack racing in Australia. The project started with a yellow 2005 Gallardo shell missing body panels. In the back of the car BIFIRI is installing a turbocharged 2.0 L Honda K20 inline-four and six-speed manual transmission in a transverse layout. The motor will be built to handle 1000+ hp but probably start racing at 600 hp. Currently BIFIRI is fabricating the custom rear suspension to handle the transverse powertrain.
