Vidar Jødahl and his Buldre Racing BMW E30 M3 attended Streetrace SM at Lunda airfield in Alunda, Sweden. Vidar competed in the King of 402m class and won against a Ford Capri with a turbocharged Chevy V8, turbocharged BMW E12, and Porsche 996 Turbo. His final run was 9.3503 sec at 251.63 km/h (156.35 mph). A few days later Vidar and the E30 traveled to Kjula Dragway in Eskilstuna, Sweden for testing. While there Vidar went 8.8462 sec at 256.9 km/h (159.6 mph) in the quarter-mile. The E30 is powered by a turbocharged 2JZ-GTE inline-six capable of 1306 hp and 1578 Nm (1163 lb-ft) of torque on 3.0 bar (43.5 psi) of boost. Backing that is a Sellholm MPG sequential transmission and E34 M5 rear end.
