MST Racing and their custom VW Beetle traveled to Romania for the RoDrag Event. The race car is powered by a turbocharged 2.8 L BMW M50 inline-six which VeeDubRacing states is making 1050 hp (772 kW). The motor features forged pistons and rods, Holset HX50 turbocharger, and Link G4+ ECU. Behind the motor is a Liberty five-speed transmission. VeeDubRacing reports their best quarter-mile at the event was 9.003 sec at 254 km/h (156 mph).
