1996 GMC Truck with a Twin-Turbo LSx V8

Gas Monkey Garage built this 1996 GMC pickup with a twin-turbo 434 ci (7.1L) LSx V8. The features a Texas Speed & Performance built shortblock featuring a Dart LS Next iron block, Callies Compstar crankshaft, Callies Compstar Extreme forged steel rods, and TSP/Wiseco forged aluminum pistons. The motor is boosted by a pair of Hellion 66/62 turbochargers. Behind the motor Gas Monkey Garage installed a Turbo 400 three-speed automatic transmission and Quick Performance 9-inch rear end. The truck rides on a full Ridetech suspension and a set of Wilwood disc brakes. The custom widebody is painted in AXALTA Cromax paint. Under those custom arches are JTX Regal Street Series wheels (22×12, 24×15) with 305/35 tires in front and 405/25 tire in back.
