Toyota Tacoma Prerunner with a supercharged Hellcat V8

Stewart Gibbs from Meso Customs transformed a 2016 Toyota Tacoma into the “HellTaco” Prerunner with help from Stellar Built. The truck is powered by a supercharged 6.2 L Hellcat V8 featuring custom mounts, reverse oil pan, and custom headers and 3-inch exhaust. Behind that is a Hellcat 8HP90 eight-speed automatic transmission and Behemoth divorced transfer case. Power is split between a Dana 44 front axle and Currie 9-inch full floating rear axle with 40-spline axles. The truck rides on a heavily modified chassis by Stellar Built with a 90’s Ford Bronco TTB front subframe. The front suspension uses Solo Motorsports TTB long travel kit and Wilwood six-piston calipers. The rear features a custom 4-link suspension and Wilwood dual four-piston calipers. Stewart created the exterior using a Tacoma cabin, custom Tundra fiberglass clamshell front, plenty of 3d printed parts, and a set of Volk Racing 18-inch wheels with Toyo MT 38-inch tires. Future plans call for porting the blower and making 1,000 hp on E85 fuel.
