Desert Power Wagons built this 1948 Dodge Power Wagon at their company in Castle Hayne, North Carolina. The vehicle is powered by a 6.7 L Cummins turbodiesel inline-six producing 385 hp (283 kW) and 930 lb-ft (1260 Nm) of torque. That is backed by a 68RFE six-speed automatic transmission, Borgwarner 44-47 transfer case, and Yukon axles with 4.56 ratio. The Power Wagon rides on a custom frame with 4-link front and rear suspension. Uneven terrain is handled by King 3-inch adjustable shocks, Eibach springs, and Maxxis Razr MT 37×12.5-inch tires mounted on Method MR605 20×10-inch wheels. Desert Power Wagons covered the body in Nautical Blue Metallic paint and accented by black fenders and LED headlights. The bed floor is made from Oak wood with stainless steel panels.
