Jeff Allen from The Car Chasers built this custom 1963 Volvo called “Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride” in 2017. The body is 1963 Volvo 122S with bolt-on fender flares all covered in BMW Austin Yellow paint. The body is installed on a 2013 Corvette Grand Sport chassis. In the engine bay is a 7.0 L LS7 V8 built by Lingenfelter Performance Engineering. Behind that is a 6L80 six-speed automatic transaxle. It stops thanks to Baer six-piston brakes in front and rear. Over those are Forgeline 18-inch wheels with BFGoodrich g-Force Rival tires (275/35, 315/30). The interior carries over the Corvette dash, center console, and steering wheel. There are Recaro seats with Takata harnesses. The unique vehicle is for sale on Bring a Trailer.
