Infiniti G37 with a turbocharged 2JZ inline-six

KMP Speed Shop (KMP) was tasked with building a stronger 2JZ inline-six for this Infiniti G37 IPL. They started with a DART Iron Eagle 2JZ block and added a factory crankshaft, Manley Turbo Tuff rods and CP HD 10:1 pistons. On top they added a 2JZ-GE VVTi head ported by KMP with BC 276 camshafts, Supertech stainless steel valves, BC HD dual valve springs, PointOne 0.5-inch head studs, and custom KMP intake manifold. Boost is generated by a Turbosmart 7880 turbocharger paired to a KMP custom Vband exhaust manifold and cooled by a RDturbo custom intercooler. The engine runs on E85 flex fuel through 2000 cc injectors by three AEM 400 pumps in a RDturbo surge tank. It also features an AEM water/methanol system. A ECUMaster EMU Pro 8 ECU with a KMP custom wiring harness controls the power unit. The motor produces 1427 hp and 976 lb-ft of torque on 45 psi of boost. KMP installed a Grannas Racing T56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission.
