Tal England from Scuderia BlendLine spent 2,700 hours building his “Peugaru” inspired by rally race cars. The project started with a cheap Peugeot 206 that was heading to the scrap yard. Tal removed the Peugeot underpinnings and swapped a 2003 Subaru WRX floorpan and powertrain. The Peugaru is now powered by a turbocharged 2.1 L EJ20 flat-four featuring a closed-deck block, forged pistons and rods, factory heads, STI injectors, and VF36 turbocharger. Behind that is a factory-spec WRX five-speed manual transmission and AWD drivetrain. Listen to Tal discuss the project’s history with Adam Beard from Twin Engine Corsa in the video below.
