Phil Cato built this 1977 Chevrolet C20 at his company Cato’s Custom Upholstery in Salt Lake City, Utah. The truck is powered by a 6.2 L LTx V8 combined with a 8L90 eight-speed automatic transmission and Dana 44 rear end. It rides on QA1 coilover suspension with Baer four-piston brakes. Phil developed a custom “AvoCato” green paint and stripes to cover the body. That is accented by a set of Halibrand wheels (20×8, 20×10). On the inside Phil’s company made a custom seat covered in Moore & Giles leather. In front of that is a Sparc Industries steering wheel and New Vintage gauges.

  1. What a beautiful truck. I’d just clean up the exhaust a little bit with perhaps an h pipe and mufflers a little farther down.
