1966 Chevelle with a Twin-Turbo 427 ci LSx V8

Pro Touring Texas built this 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle at their company in Springtown, Texas. Under the hood is a twin-turbo 427 ci (7.0L) LSx V8 built by Nelson Racing Engines. The motor features a Dart Next block with Dart billet crank, Boostline forged rods, custom JE forged pistons, and a pair of NRE 72 mm turbochargers. The motor produces 1100 hp on 93 octane fuel. A Tremec Magnum six-speed manual transmission sends that power to a 9-inch rear end with 35-spline axles. The powertrain is supported by a Roadster Shop FastTrack chassis using C7 Corvette spindles, Fox adjustable coilovers, and Baer Pro+ six-piston calipers with 14-inch rotors. The freshly painted body is accented by factory trim and a set of Billet Specialties wheels (18×10, 19×12). The interior features factory bucket seats, Dakota Digital RTX gauges, and a Sure-fit Vintage AC system.
