Luke Shipp from Lookship interviewed Kevin Hobbins about his special Lotus Exige S1 he’s been building off-and-on for 10 years. In the back of the car Kevin swapped a turbocharged 1.8 L Audi (ADU) inline-four capable of 500 hp (367 kW). The motor features forged pistons and rods, Garrett GTX3076 turbocharger, and two water-to-air intercoolers. Kevin upgraded the car’s handling using Öhlins coilovers and Lotus Evora four-piston brakes on each corner. On the outside he painted the widebody red and installed a set of Team Dynamics Motorsport wheels. Listen to Kevin explain all the custom work he invested in his Exige.
