Jan Kårwik spent two years building this custom Scania semi truck called “Scanrod” in his garage in Svenstavik, Sweden. The truck starts with a 1967 Scania Vabis LS76 chassis with a Delta 400 bus front axle and Scania P94 rear end. Power is generated by a 14.2 L Scania D14 V8 also taken from a Delta 400 bus. Exhaust is routed through a set of custom Ferrita stainless steel headers to side-exit exhaust. In the back of the truck is an electro-hydraulic crane from a Scania SBAT111S (Terrängbil 40) military truck. Listen to Ferrita explain the truck in the video below. English subtitles available in controls.
