Frankie Forman and Pat Topolinski from Engine Power set out to build the ultimate Ford 300 inline-six. The team started by reinforcing the top of the block with Moroso engine block filler and converting to hydraulic roller lifters. Then they installed a forged crankshaft, Molnar forged rods, custom DSS Racing pistons, and custom-ground billet camshaft. On top they added a Promax Performance CNC ported head with Comp valve springs and ARP studs. With a 9.2:1 compression ratio, the motor made 300 hp and 334 lb-ft of torque naturally aspirated. For the turbo dyno session, the team installed a Stainless Header exhaust manifold, two Hypergate 45 mm wastegates, and Turbonetics Sylvia 7268 turbocharger. On 12 psi (0.8 bar) of boost, the motor made 555 hp (408 kW) and 623 lb-ft (844 Nm) of torque. Then on 16.5 psi (1.1 bar) of boost, it made 601 hp (442 kW) and 702 lb-ft (951 Nm) of torque. 1. I’m Ramon Santiago/ I have a1992 F-150 with a 4.9L original and I want to know if you guys sell this 300 with turbo I just want my truck boost in power I just got it pain / a guy took all inside parts for repairs and $500 and never came back sense sept 2024 but I never give up my dream to get my truck the unique look and your engine is a plus ( daytonasports@yahho.com)

  2. yall acting like this engine just a simple turbo kit on a random straight-six smh. This is heavily modified and would most likely go for around $10k or more. just saying…

  3. That is a whole lot of work and money for that many horses. I would put my money into a 4.0 Mopar straight 6. With just a edelbrock manifold and a bit of port and polish. And a turbo, your looking at close to 1,000hp
