The Ginetta G55 is built by Ginetta Cars in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England to compete in the Ginetta GT Supercup and British GP Championship. This Ginetta G55 is owned by Richard Perini who competes in Time Attack racing. The car originally came with a naturally aspirated 3.7 L Ford V6 making 380 hp (279 kW). It visited PR Technology for a twin-turbo setup using Garrett G25-550 turbochargers. It produced more power but was not dependable at higher boost. So PR Technology swapped the Ford V6 for a twin-turbo Nissan VR38DETT V6. The motor produces 650 hp (478 kW) on low boost and 1000+ hp (735+ kW) on high boost from a pair of Garrett G25-660 turbochargers. That power is delivered to the rear tires through a Holinger sequential transaxle.
