Patrick Motorsports utilized their 35 years of experience building and racing the Porsche 914 to transform this 1972 914-4. In the back of the car they installed a naturally aspirated 3.8 L flat-six featuring Mahle pistons and cylinders, Pauter rods, titanium retainers, upgraded valve springs, and GT2 oil pump. Exhaust is routed through Patrick Motorsports’ 1.75-inch stainless steel headers. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Porsche 915 five-speed manual transaxle with a WEVO mid-engine shift system. Patrick Motorsports improved the car’s handling with a TracTive Adaptive suspension that allows for in-car control of suspension stiffness, pitch, and roll. On the outside the company installed steel roof and fenders. Everything is covered in Glasurit 55 “Willow Green” and a PPF clear wrap.
