Jacob Moshokoa from Cars.co.za visited Designa Ridez in Pretoria, South Africa to showcase their unique BMW F20 hatchback. The project started as a BMW 118i with a turbocharged 1.5 L B38 inline-three. Designa Ridez swapped that for a twin-turbo 3.0 L S55 inline-six from a BMW M4. The F20 hatchback now has 317 kW (425 hp) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque. The company also swapped the M4’s seven-speed M-DCT transmission and suspension. Designa Ridez paired the increased power with a set of BMW M5 F10 front brakes. Listen to Jacob discuss the car before driving it in the video below.
