We discovered this custom 1971 Plymouth Barracuda on Mecum auctions. It was built by Time Machines in Florida as part of their Six Shooter series. Under the 1971 Cuda body is a 1999 Dodge Viper chassis and underpinnings. The car’s 450 hp (330 kW) is generated by a 8.0 L V10 producing fed by two pumps in a custom fuel cell. Behind that is a custom adapter bolted to a four-speed automatic transmission and Viper rear end. The suspension uses Viper coilovers rebuilt for a heavier body and Baer six-piston front brakes with 13-inch rotors. The body features Curious Yellow paint with black V10 hockey stick stripes and black convertible top. Under the fenders are Colorado Custom wheels (18×10, 12×18) with Michelin Pilot Sport tires (295/30, 335/30).
