Viper ACR with a Turbo Hurricane Inline-Six

2000 Dodge Viper ACR with a turbocharged Hurricane inline-six

John O’Malley from Boosted Motorsports built a unique vehicle for Roadkill Nights Grudge Match. He started with a 2000 Dodge Viper ACR powered by a 8.0 L V10 and BorgWarner T56 six-speed manual transmission. John swapped the V10 for a twin-turbo 3.0 L Hurricane inline-six that he converted to a single HPT 7175 turbocharger and air-to-air intercooler. The factory manual transmission was also swapped for a Stage 2 8HP75 eight-speed automatic transmission. On the dyno the combo made 846 hp and 706 lb-ft of torque on 29 psi of boost. John plans to boost the motor further with upgraded internals and fuel system.
