David Lamik from Turbo Lamik and his Opel Corsa A attended the Doorslammers 2025 event at Santa Pod Raceway in the UK. While there David and the Corsa achieved a personal best and FWD European record of 7.551 sec quarter-mile at 191.33 mph (307.92 km/h). The Corsa is powered by a turbocharged 3.0 L VR6 making 1200 hp (894 kW) from a Pulsar 7782G turbocharger. The motor is paired to a Stage 3 DSG DQ250 six-speed transmission with a TOPOL Garage clutch kit, WALKEmotorsport TCU software, and Monster Performance gearset.
