V10-Powered Honda S2000 Racing at Sonoma

Ralf from Ralfs GarageCars and his Honda S2000 visited Sonoma Raceway for some racing. The sport car is no longer powered by a high-revving inline-four. Instead it has a 8.3 L Viper V10 producing 510 hp (375 kW) and 535 lb-ft (725 lb-ft) of torque. It is paired to a six-speed manual transmission and Ford Explorer 8.8-inch rear end with Driveshaft Shop axles. The S2000’s suspension features Penske adjustable coilovers, Mustang close-ratio steering rack, and AP Racing Pro 5000 front brakes. Watch Ralf lap Sonoma in the videos below or his interview by Autotopia LA.

  1. “Instead it has a 8.3 L Viper V10 producing 10 hp (375 kW)”
I assume it’s a typo. Since 375 kW are equal to 510 HP, not 10.
