Custom Morris Minor with a Ford Zetec

custom Morris Minor with a 2.0 L Zetec Inline-Four

Retropower created project “Minor Threat” using a Morris Minor body and modern performance parts. The body features custom floor, custom firewall, and arches widened by 100 mm. That sits over a second-generation Mazda MX-5 NB chassis shortened by Retropower with custom coilovers. In the engine bay is a naturally aspirated 2.0 L Ford Zetec inline-four built by Prodev Engineering. The motor 200 hp (147 kW) thanks to Omex individual throttle bodies and a custom Simpson Race exhaust header. Behind the motor is a six-speed manual transmission and rear differential also sourced from a MX-5. You can view more photos and the car’s progress on the project’s FB page or the project page.
