1967 Chevelle with a 1200 hp LS3 V8

1967 Chevelle with a supercharged LS3 V8

Roger Holder from Holder Motorsports has owned this 1967 Chevelle since he was a teenager. When Roger was ready for the car’s next phase he turned to Ironworks Speed & Kustom in California. The company modified the SS hood to accommodate the supercharged LS3 V8 built by Don Hardy capable. The motor’s 1200 hp (894 kW) is transmitted through a Bowler 4L80 four-speed automatic transmission to a 9-inch rear end. Underneath the car Ironworks installed a Speedtech ExtReme chassis featuring custom control arms, JRI coilovers, and torque arm rear suspension. A set of Wilwood six-piston brakes hiding behind Forgeline GA3 wheels help keep the power under control. Listen to Roger explain the history of the Chevelle in the video below.
