2000 Dodge Viper ACR with a Turbo Hurricane Inline-Six

John O’Malley from Boosted Motorsports built a 2000 Dodge Viper ACR for Roadkill Nights Grudge Match. John swapped the factory 8.0 L V10 for a turbocharged 3.0 L Hurricane inline-six. John removed the factory twin-turbo system for a single HPT 7175 turbocharger and custom exhaust manifold. The setup produced 846 hp (622 kW) and 706 lb-ft (957 Nm) of torque on 29 psi (1.9 bar) of boost. John also swapped the factory BorgWarner T56 six-speed manual transmission for a Stage 2 8HP75 eight-speed automatic transmission. John piloted the Viper to a 9.505 sec at 144.54 mph in the quarter-mile. Watch the pass in the video below.
