Adam Beard from Twin Engine Corsa visited CrankWorx Performance Fab to feature their wild Vauxhall Corsa B. The little purple car is now powered by a turbocharged 2.3 L B234 inline-four from a Saab 9000. It features forged rods and pistons, upgraded camshaft, GT35 turbocharger, and 1500 cc injectors. The upgrades help it produce 730 hp (536 kW). The motor is paired to a DQ250 DSG six-speed transmission from an Audi S3 and Audi TT Mk1 rear end. The car’s best quarter-mile is a 9.517 sec at 142.03 mph. Listen to Adam discuss the project with the builder.
