Detroit Muscle built this 1969 Plymouth Road Runner called “Road Burner” in 2022. Rising out of the engine bay are a pair of Quick Fuel Technology Black Diamond 750 cfm carbs on top of a Holley Hi-Ram intake manifold. Below that is a 6.4 L Hemi V8 with a Com Cams camshaft with a 222° intake duration, 230° exhaust duration, .050″ lift, and 115° lobe separation. Detroit Muscle backed the Hemi with a Tremec TKX five-speed manual transmission and Moser 8.75-inch rear end featuring a Detroit locker differential. They upgraded the car’s suspension with a Reilly MotorSports AlterKtion K-member front suspension and four-link rear suspension. A set of Billet Specialties Win Lite 17-inch wheels cover Wilwood disc brakes front and rear. The wheels are mounted with Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R 27×6-inch front tires and Mickey Thompson ET Street 305/45 rear tires. The Road Runner can be found for sale on Bring a Trailer.
