TRC’s 2JZ-Powered Nissan 240SX

Nissan 240SX with a 2JZ-GTE inline-six

That Racing Channel built this Nissan 240SX with a turbocharged 2JZ-GTE VVTi inline-six making 800 hp (588 kW). The motor features a BorgWarner S369SXE turbocharger paired with an Artec exhaust manifold. On tops sits a new 2JZ head with Brian Crower Stage 3 272 camshafts, valves, springs, and titanium retainers. The motor feeds on plenty of fuel thanks to a Bosch 1700 cc injectors controlled by a Haltech Elite 2500 ECU. Behind the 2JZ is a Tilton twin-plate clutch surround by a Grannas Racing aluminum bellhousing. From there a T56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission sends power through a custom driveshaft to an Infiniti Q45 rear end with upgraded axles. The car rides on BC Racing adjustable coilovers and a set of Weld Wheels RT-S S79 wheels with Toyo R888 tires (275/40).
