J.P. Arrington built his 1967 Dodge D-100 called “Hellrzr” in 90 days with the help from two friends. In the engine bay he installed a supercharged 6.2 L Hemi V8 from a Challenger SRT Demon. The motor is now producing 950+ hp (708+ kW) is paired with an 8HP90 eight-speed automatic transmission. A custom driveshaft sends the power to a 9-inch rear end with 35-spline axles. The powertrain is supported by a custom chassis built by SSChassisWorx with an Air Lift Performance air suspension and Ridetech shocks. Braking is handled by Wilwood six-piston calipers with 15-inch rotors in front and Wilwood four-piston calipers with 14-inch rotors in back. Those are covered by Rotiform SNA wheels (20×11, 22×13) with Toyo Proxes tires. Listen to JP explain the project to Holley while attending MoParty 2025.
