LOJ Conversions purchased a 7.3 L Ford Godzilla V8 for research and development. After completing its intended duty the motor sat in the corner of the shop. LOJ Conversions owner Stephen Dorrick wanted to build something with the Godzilla. He found a 2005 Ford F-250 Super Duty with a 5.4 L Triton V8 that suffered a rod through the block. Stephen swapped the Godzilla into the F-250 using custom mounts, Coyote V8 throttle body, Ford Performance Control Pack, and 6.0 L diesel radiator with custom shroud and two Spal fans. Exhaust is routed through a Stainless Works Godzilla full exhaust. Stephen used a Ford V10 clutch and flywheel between the Gozilla and the factory ZF S6-650 six-speed manual transmission. The truck still retains the stock manual transfer case, Dana 60 front axle, and Sterling 10.5-inch rear axle. Since the swap Stephen drove 10,000 miles and average 12 mpg.
