This first-generation Lexus IS300 arrived at Drag International with a naturally aspirated 2JZ-GE inline-six. The company spent four days swapping the motor and transmission. The car is now powered by a turbocharged 2.5 L 1JZ-GTE VVTi inline-six featuring an Extreme Motorsports custom intake manifold, intercooler, and exhaust. They also added an Aristo Turbo fuel pump and JR Wiring Solutions wiring harness to work with the factory 1JZ ECU. Behind the 1JZ is an ACT clutch and R154 five-speed manual transmission. A Driveshaft Shop driveshaft connects to the factory rear end.
