This custom 1957 Dodge Suburban was created by the talented builders at Horsepower NorthWest. The classic wagon is now powered by a 5.7 L Hemi V8 producing 383 hp (281 kW) and 417 lb-ft (565 Nm) of torque. The drivetrain uses a NAG1 five-speed automatic transmission and a Mercedes 215 mm independent rear differential. The Suburban rides on a Chrysler 300C front and rear suspension. Mercedes was a business partner with Chrysler (1998–2007) during the 300 development. So the front suspension features a double-wishbone design based on a Mercedes-Benz W220 S-Class. The five-link independent rear suspension is based on the Mercedes-Benz W210 E-Class. Inside the cabin Horsepower NorthWest installed custom gauges from Redline Gauge Works, heated front seats, and RestoMod Air AC system. They were able to retain the factory Dodge push-button shifter which works with the NAG1 automatic transmission.
