1971 Plymouth Duster with a supercharged Hellcat V8

Fast Freddie’s Rod Shop created this 1971 Plymouth Duster at their company in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. In the engine bay they installed a supercharged 6.2 L Hellcat V8 crate motor producing 652 hp (479 kW) and 613 lb-ft (831 Nm) of torque to the wheels. The drivetrain consists of a Bowler T56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission and Dana 60 independent rear end. The car sits on an Art Morrison chassis with a fully independent suspension and Strange adjustable coilovers. Braking is handled by Wilwood six-piston calipers in front and four-piston in back. Covering those are American Racing VF503 18×12-inch wheels with Nitto 315/40 tires. View more photos of the project’s build progress in the project page.
