1961 Corvette with a Supercharged LT4 V8

Why Not Motors built this 1961 Corvette called “Timeless” with a supercharged 6.2 L LT4 V8 crate motor paired to a 10L90 10-speed automatic transmission. The motor produces 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque thanks to forged steel crank and rods, forged aluminum pistons, and a 1.7L Eaton R1740 TVS supercharger. Exhaust is routed through custom ceramic-coated 2.5-inch tubing using catalytic converters and MagnaFlow mufflers. Everything sits on an Art Morrison chassis with electric steering, Strange adjustable coilovers, and Wilwood six-piston calipers on 14-inch rotors. The fiberglass body is covered in Why Knotty Blue paint with the coves using Ferrari Soft White paint. The soft-top is made from Navy Blue Stayfast fabric. Inside the wells are custom billet Schott wheels wearing Diamond Back whitewall tires. The interior features custom Italian leather wrapped seats moved two inches rearward. Why Not Motor swapped the factory clock for a vintage pocket watch. Next to that is a custom leather-wrapped billet steering in front of Dakota Digital RTX gauges. The Corvette found a new owner at Barrett-Jackson.
