RENNtech is building 12 special “SEC V12 Widebody SLEDGEHAMMER” vehicles at their company in Florida. The project starts with a Mercedes C126 SEC which will receive an all aluminum M120 V12. RENNtech rebuilds the motor and increased displacement to 7.5 liters. They estimate the naturally aspirated V12 will produce 660 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. It will also sound wonderful thanks to custom equal-length exhaust headers. At this point that is all the details RENNtech has released. We should receive more as we approach the 2027 launch date.
