RENNtech is Building a Widebody Mercedes C126 with a 660 hp M120 V12

RENNtech is building 12 special “SEC V12 Widebody SLEDGEHAMMER” vehicles at their company in Florida. The project starts with a Mercedes C126 SEC which will receive an upgraded M120 V12 with displacement increased to 7.5 liters. RENNtech rebuilds the motor with forged internals, ported heads, “advanced” intake system, and equal-length headers. They estimate the naturally aspirated V12 will produce 660 hp (492 kW) and 650 lb-ft (881 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed manual transaxle. We look forward to more details on the unique project as we approach the 2027 launch date.
