Greg’s Restorations completed a body-off rebuild of this 1970 Toyota Land Cruiser (FJ40) at their company in Rutland, Massachusetts. The SUV is now powered by a 5.3 L L33 V8 producing 310 hp (228 kW) and 335 lb-ft (454 Nm) of torque. The motor features an aluminum block, flat-top pistons, cathedral port heads, and LS1 intake manifold. The motor swap uses Advanced Adapters mounts and bellhousing. Behind that is a late-model FJ40 four-speed manual transmission, transfer case, and axles with 4.11 ratios. The Land Cruiser rides on a Specter Off-Road 4-link suspension lift with a Toyota minitruck power steering and 1978 Land Cruiser disc brakes in front and drum brakes in rear. The body is covered in Sherwin Williams Automotive paint with a custom beige color and accented by Method 17-inch wheels with Nitto Trail Grapplers 315/70 tires.
