1973 International Scout II with a 6.2L LT1 V8

1973 International Harvester Scout II

Velocity Restorations built this 1973 International Harvester Scout II with a 6.2 L LT1 V8 capable of 455 hp (334 kW) and 455 lb-ft (616 Nm) of torque. Velocity Restorations paired the motor with a 10L80 10-speed automatic transmission and transfer case. Power is split between a Dana 44 front axle and Dana 60 rear axle. Underneath the body is a Roadster Shop chassis with a 4-link front and rear suspension. It also uses Fox coilovers and Wilwood brakes. On the outside Velocity Restorations cover the body in a custom “Harvest Moon” color using Glasurit paint. They installed LED headlights, new glass, billet sideview mirrors, and power steps. They completed the look with a set of painted 18-inch steel wheels holding BFGoodrich KM3 35-inch tires. Inside the cabin they covered everything in brown leather and added custom center console and door panels. Velocity Restorations added a Sparc steering wheel, Dakota Digital gauges, and a six-point roll cage.
