Fat Fender Garage gave this 1966 Mercury M-250 Crew Cab a new heart. Under the hood sits a supercharged 5.8 L Trinity V8 from a 2014 Ford Shelby GT500. The motor is capable of 662 hp (494 kW) and 631 lb-ft (856 Nm) of torque. Behind that is a Tremec TR-6060 6-speed manual transmission and NP205 transfer case. The rest of the drivetrain consists of Currie F9 fabricated 9-inch axles in front and rear. Both possess eight-lug hubs, Eaton Truetrac limited-slip differential, and 4.11 ratios. The powertrain is supported by Fat Fender Garage’s custom 4×4 chassis using a parallel 4-link front suspension with panhard bar and triangulated 4-link rear suspension. A set of ICON 2.5-inch CDEV coilovers handle bumps while F-250 13-inch disc brakes slow the truck. Covering those are 17-inch wheels with BFGoodrich Mud Terrains 35×12.5-inch tires.
