Tenn Automotive interviewed John about his 1975 Datsun 260Z. The car is now powered by a turbocharged 3.2 L RB-series inline-six capable of 600 hp (441 kW) at the hubs on pump fuel. The motor features a RB30 block, 3.2 L stroker crank, RB25 Neo head, 280/280 camshafts, and G35-900 turbocharger. John backed the motor with a BMW seven-speed DCT (dual-clutch transmission). That sends power to a Nissan R200 rear end with a Nismo 1.5 way limited-slip differential. The suspension features custom BC adjustable coilovers and Wilwood four-piston calipers on each corner. Covering those are Riverside Stich Mesh wheels (17×11, 17×11.5).
