HWA traveled to Arteplog, Sweden to winter test two of their EVO prototypes. The HWA EVO is a custom 190E powered by a twin-turbo 3.0 L M276 V6 capable of 450 hp (330 kW), carbon fiber driveshaft, and six-speed manual transaxle in the rear. The company along with Bosch Engineering tested the cars’ TCS (Traction Control System), ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), and IVC (Integrated Vehicle Dynamics Control) in temperatures as low as -20° celsius (-4° F).
