Slate Performance Automotive built this 1965 Corvette at their company in Indianapolis, Indiana. Under the hood sits a supercharged 6.2 L LT5 V8 capable of 755 hp (563 kW) and 715 lb-ft (969 Nm) of torque. The motor uses a forged steel crank, forged aluminum pistons, I-beam rods, 2.6 L Eaton TVS supercharger, and dry sump system. Behind the motor is a 8L90E eight-speed automatic transmission sending power to a independent 9-inch rear end with a 3.73 ratio. The car sits on a Roadster Shop SPEC chassis featuring a fully independent suspension with Penske adjustable coilovers. Braking is completed by Baer Extreme six-piston calipers with 14-inch rotors on each corner. Those are hidden behind C7 ZR1 wheels with Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires (285/30, 335/25).
