Vorshlag Motorsports is putting the finishing touches on their 2013 Scion FRS to compete in SCCA TT Max4 class. The coupe is now powered by a 3.7 L Honda J37A1 V6 capable of 300 hp (220 kW) and 275 lb-ft (372 Nm) of torque. The motor features custom mounts, P2R intake manifold, Acura TLX 70 mm throttle body, LS3 injectors, custom exhaust manifolds, and a Link ECU. Vorshlag backed the motor with a custom adapter plate, ACT clutch, and Aisin AZ6 six-speed manual transmission from a 2009-2011 Mazda RX-8. A custom driveshaft sends power to the factory rear end and axles. The stripped interior features Momo Safari Daytona racing seats, driver cooling system, fire suppression system, and 4-point roll cage. You can read more details on the project in Vorshlag’s build thread.
