Hodson Motors featured this 1972 Ford F-250 in a giveaway. The truck is powered by a 7.3 L Power Stroke V8. Behind the diesel V8 is a 4R100 four-speed automatic transmission and transfer case. Torque is split between a Dana 60 front axle and Sterling 10.5-inch rear end with 4.10 ratios. The truck rides on a 2000 F-250 Super Duty chassis with Bilstein shocks and leaf-springs. On each corner are Milestar Patagonia XT 37-inch tires mounted on US Wheel Steelies 17-inch wheels with factory hubcaps. The truck body is covered in factory Tampico Yellow single-stage paint with a 78-79 front bumper and Allen Idle Time camper.
