This Mazda 1300 is built to handle the street and drag strip. The wagon is now powered by a turbocharged 12A two-rotor making 500+ hp (367+ kW) to the wheels. The motor features bridgeporting, HKS T51R turbocharger, Turbosmart ProGate 50 mm wastegate, and Pac Performance multi-rib pulley kit. It runs on a Microtech LT16C ECU and fuel is held by a custom fuel tank holding three in-tank pumps. The 12A is backed by a Jatco automatic transmission and narrowed 9-inch rear end. The wagon’s suspension features adjustable coilovers in front and leaf-springs in back. It stops thanks to Wilwood four-piston brakes on each corner covered by Weld wheels.
