This first-generation Ford Transit Connect came from the factory with either a 1.8 L diesel inline-four or 2.0 L gasoline inline-four. It is now powered by a turbocharged 2.5 L Duratec (B5254T3) inline-five and MTX75 six-speed manual transmission from a Ford Focus ST (ST225). The motor features Stage 1 camshafts, Turbosmart wastegate with 5 psi spring, Airtec Motorsport intercooler, and 3-inch exhaust. The transmission uses a Focus RS clutch and Quaife limited-slip differential. The van visited Devil Developments for their REVO Stage 2 tune. The result was 336 hp (247 kW) and 385 lb-ft (521 Nm) of torque.
