Ironworks Speed & Kustom debuted another Legacy Series Chevelle from their company in Bakersfield, California. This 1970 Chevelle is powered by a 6.2 L LT1 V8 making 490 hp (360 kW). Behind that is a 10Lxx 10-speed automatic transmission, Mark Williams driveshaft, to a GearFX 9-inch independent rear end. The car rides on Ironworks’ Legacy Series chassis with a fully independent suspension and custom-valved JRI shocks. Braking is handled by Wilwood six-piston calipers and 14-inch drilled/slotted rotors on each corner. Those are coved by Forgeline wheels (19×10, 20×12) wearing Michelin (285/35, 335/30). On the outside Ironworks painted the body in Black Cherry with black racing strips, black vinyl top, and 1971-1972 rear bumper. On the inside you find a recessed floor under DJ Designs’ 2016-2020 ZL1 Camaro seats, Dakota Digital games in a carbon fiber dashboard, and Vintage Air Gen5 AC system.
