Tegiwa and their “Tsuki” Honda NSX returned to Time Attack racing at Donington Park. The team spent the offseason upgrading the car’s turbocharged 2.2 L Honda K-series inline-four. Tegiwa converted to eight injectors and installed Kelford Stage 1 Turbo camshafts and Kelford Extreme valves springs. They reduced weight by removing the water/methanol system and moved the electronics to a Haltech Nexus R5 ECU. The upgrades resulted in 682 hp (509 kW) and 482 lb-ft (653 Nm) at 1.5 bar (21.7 psi) of boost. The powertrain still uses a Hollinger MF-2WD six-speed sequential transmission. At the end the team set a best lap of 1:07.79.
